Estamos al final del verano en Panamá y les hablaré de mi atuendo para el Fest 4U:
Quisiera contarles que me sentí como la chica a gogo en los tiempos en que Raquel Welch era la sensación usando este tipo de pantalones bell bottom. Aunque es un poco diferente porque no es el clásico look de botas largas de latex y vestido corto, he hecho que los pantalones del tiempo de nuestras abuelas, como dicen por ahí (risitas), se vean de manera actual al bajarle el tono recargado con una vibra más 'free spirit'. Hacerlo más natural, sin tantas reglas, 'no make up' y más detalles inesperados. ¡Tan solo ser tú!
Es por eso que me he inspirado totalmente en la canción "TÚ" de Les Indigents: una banda panameña que me encanta de música rock indie, en la cual he estado muy enfrascada últimamente y la verdad este atuendo es por esa canción. Me recuerda a ese sentimiento o sensación de quererte sin más, tal cual eres con todo lo que te hace ser tu mismo(a). Es decir, quererte sin vergüenza de lo que tienes, tus gustos, tus actitudes, tu forma de ser y tus criterios. Razones del por qué ser "tú" es algo muy importante con tan solo inspirarte para serlo y hacer una diferencia entre los demás. Espero que de alguna manera, tú que estás leyendo esta publicación, tengas la confianza de que por medio de lo que crees, lo que eres o por lo que luchas, podrás ser alguien con una chispa especial. It's the end of summer here in Panama and I want to talk to you about the outfit I wore for Fest 4U:
Let me say this, I felt like one of those gogo girls from the time Raquel Welch was the sensation using bell bottom pants. Even though it's different because I'm not using the classic short dress with a pair of latex high boots, I'm using these awesome pants that some of you may even say that it's from our grandmothers' era (laughs). I tried to make them look current by going softer with the styling. I went for a more natural look, not following any kind of rule, no make up and wore some unexpected details. It's good to be just 'you'!
This is why I received the inspiration from Les Indigents' song 'TÚ' ('YOU). Les Indigents is a Panamanian band that plays rock indie music and I've been listening to them a lot for the past year. This song reminds me of the feeling you get of completeness when you love yourself for being just...you! Loving you without shame for all that you have, like, your attitude, and your values. Reason why being 'you' is something important and it's something you should always be inspired to be because that's what makes you different from the rest. I hope that you, precious reader, can have the confidence that you're someone special for being yourself. See you on next posts! #Love4U
